Great video of a Tudor Fef 390 overhaul and restoration
Mods, I hope this link is permitted
I watch this guy on YouTube every week. He’s a self taught hobbyist and I really Have enjoyed his videos. Here is a fleurier 390 and its very interesting how complex it is. Rumor has been that its a nasty movement to repair. If you watch this guys other videos he does a Seiko Willard and loves the simplicity. Anyway, enjoy the video. He is not aware that this nickel plated 390 movement prob Came from a sub 7928 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tUkh9a...&start_radio=1 |

Yeah, so it has that date feature on it. Could that Nickel movement be used in a 7928 If the date wheels are removed ? I always wondered how you could have a movement number and clearly there is date and no date. That is like a General Motors move to have two differently engineered parts with the same part number.

Parts might be swapped (is it a 395 or 355?) but the plates would be stamped wrong
