Day Date to AP Chrono?

I have two day dates. One is a YG 40 and the other is the RG/olive with the diamond bezel, both at retail. I thought about trading one, plus cash for a RG AP Chrono. It would be my first AP. I’ve been in love with the chrono forever! Any thoughts?

Which chrono, assuming it is ROC?
41m or 38m. Newest in-house movement or previous gen, if you are thinking of 41m ?

Yes ROC, 41mm. Probably newest movement.

I let go my RG Olive DD few months after I bought a SS 41m ROC.

I have seen and tried a RG ROC with blue dial and honestly it is just not comparable to a DD.

ROC and it’s not close. Day dates don’t do much for me

I would like to see AP release the 41mm rose gold RO and ROC with green dials. I would rather the blue, but maybe it would distract some folks :-)

RG AP chronos beautiful to look at, terrifying to wear.

DD40 GADA watch and half the price.

IMO, the 41mm RG ROC is such a huge chunk of gold that it pops with any of the dark dials, black, blue, green. I'd be interested in a 41mm RG RO with the green dial, not sure why AP doesn't offer that combo.

The 41mm RG ROC is a whole 'nother level of bling compared to a DD.

I have both a 38mm RG ROC and a RG DD40 olive (no diamonds though).
Since you have 2 DDs I would definitely let one go for the AP - their RG is stunning

No idea why they look YG here but this is a Live Photo

For a long time, I always fantasized about owning a day date.
Then, I got a precious metal Royal Oak, and that fantasy just died away.
Is so many aspects, a PM RO captures the imagination so much better. You’ll have to pay for it though.

The DD looks so pedestrian next to a RO/ROC, let alone when in PM.

That onyx dial is amazing. Great pair of watches there. I am hoping to get an Eisenkisel this year for my 50th.
