First Lemans Daytona hits the market

Looks like a lot of people here on TRF were right guessing over 200k!

I’m not a flipper but it be hard to walk away from this type of money if I got the call. Sorry. That’s a ton of money!! Granted I’ll never get the call so I guess it
doesn’t matter lol

Crazy ……I love the watch, but not at that price. Although….I’m sure in 10-20-30 yrs, it may be worth more

Why? I do not think it is an ultra rare or limited run watch... my guess the price is for the privilege of being one of the first to own this model.

Anyone can ask any price.

Why not $325,000? What an amateur!

One already sold? Proof?

Of course, we can never rule out someone with stupid money paying a stupid price to be the first on the block to get one. It does happen...

It’s the Lehmans Daytona. I wouldn’t trust their math on how many sold.

Had two in stock? Yah right! That’s a semi-clever attempt to demonstrate that the pricing already worked

Yeah my exact sentiments. I don’t think Rolex is gonna churn these out like DateJusts but we all know that Rolex will make their highest return on PM models so who really knows. One things for certain, AD’s will act as if they are super rare. Just not the AD that this seller got his from

For those questioning the legitimacy of the price - it is definitely real and the seller is legit.

I'm surprised to see them come out of the gate this high. I remember saying this would be a sub 100K watch. I'm still not convinced it won't be, but i didn't expect 225K out of the gate - maybe 125.

wow!

Here is Tokyo, two have already hit Jack Road in Nakano. One was purchased by a famous Youtuber who made video about the purchase. They seem to have already sold the 2nd one as well according to their site. It was 35mio. JPY ($240k US).

That one made me laugh!

This non-sense is exactly why us, mere mortals, will never get the call on this one and that’s BS.
I don’t care what it’s worth, if it’s super rare, exclusive or whatever, I just love the watch for what it is, and i sincerely hope some of the happy few who will get it would actually wear it as intended!

Lehmans went down in 2008. Maybe it's Goldman Sachs edition?

It is not the one who ask but the one who pays….

Good luck selling those at whatever price market allows.

Maybe at Bucherer will be in display only

Exactly. The hype machine is alive and well. Anybody buying at that price has more money than brains.
