What to sell what to keep.

I do not need the funds yet but I want to buy a platinum daydate and the yellow gold gmt 126718. although I already have the two tone i still want to get the full gold. Either way what would you sell if you were in my shoes for other watches funding. Unfortunately patek doesn’t work for me and I think i might sell the vaceron as well. Really like alot of the watches but might sell the blue dial datejust, black dial date just and 1 submariner

wow quite the collection

if you really insist on selling some of those nice pieces, i would remove the green oyster and one submariner and possibly one DJ

looking forward to collection update

One of Subs with green bezel, OP, and 5 digits Sub and ble DJ! That should free up some room in your watchbox and get you lots of $$$

In all honesty collections that large make my head hurt

That is not a dig at you OP. Many here have large collections but in all honesty they just don’t resonate with me. I’d almost lose track of what I own.

Sorry I can’t help

Of the subs, I’d let the current gen LV go - you have the original Kermit and ceramic option covered with hulk.

Blue DJ could go if you keep the green one, and by keeping green DJ I also think green OP could go. I don’t see the black DJ but sounds like it could go too, along with your VC.

I see 5 that I wouldn’t get rid of:
YG black dial Sub
YG Day Date
Hulk
Blue Dial Pepsi
40 mm RG YM

I see a couple on the fence:
Blue dial VC
Green Dial DJ
One of the Kermits

The rest would be expendable to me.

I’d sell the TT GRNR since you’re getting the full YG, the Kermit, the blue dial DJ, the green OP, and two of three RG pieces depending on which one you wear the most.

That would be six out for two in, and would consolidate your collection nicely (IMO)

I’m with these guys…these are all great watches and these decisions make my head spin when dealing with this many.

With that said, I’ll list my 5 keepers in the order you’ve listed your collection:

YG black dial Sub - my fav YG sub
YG Day Date - absolutely love the silver motif ..one of my fav dial options
Hulk
Pepsi blue dial
RG GMT MII

I love your TT GMT but if you’re getting the full gold, it becomes redundant.

I am only here to write how cool those leaves are looking by filling the one watch gap in the photo collage.

As for your question - do not make any decisions based on strangers thoughts .. You already show to have a good sense of what's good! Keep it that way!

Keep one YG, one RG, one WG and one Platinium

Too much green.
Keep the Hulk and sell the rest with anything green plus the blue Datejust and 2tone GMT.

Amazing collection

I’m my opinion I’d sell :

- Both 5 digit subs (prefer the ceramic bezel options)

- Either one of the hulk or Starbucks (leaving you a date and non date in black and green).

- One of the smooth bezel blue dial datejusts.

- The TT gmt if you’re getting the full gold.

- Personally the oysterflex yacht because that wouldn’t get any wrist time If I had those other options.

Same.

I'd be happier with just 3 or 4 out of those Rolexes plus the platinum DD the OP wants to get.

In addition, I'd trade both the 4500V and 15500 for a 15202 or 16202.

Old Kermit
New Kermit
YG DD
Black Sub
Blue DJ

Unless something was sentimental, I’d only keep your favorite:

Sub
DJ
DD
Buy new yg GMT on jubilee
Buy a Daytona

Smaller collection but one you love?

Good luck.

I would sell that plant! And all the green Sub.
Then also the two-tone GMT because, if you get a gold GMT, it would be a little redundant.
This way you could have almost all the money for the exchange.

Interesting flex: I don’t need to sell anything to buy what a want but take a look at my collection and tell me what I should sell if I needed to sell something to buy what I want.
