Will a 18238 dial fit on a new DD 36?

I am curious. Would a dial from the 18238 era fit on a modern 128238? I know 18038 and 18238 dials fit in 118238’s but was sure about the newest ones. Thank you all in advance.

Nope, the old dial uses dial feet and the new ones use a clamped edge. They're not interchangeable.
