'BEEF' on Netflix

Easily one of the best shows I have seen. Goes from silly, to dark, to heartfelt, to absurd, and all the way back around. 10/10.

I started it. It was stressful to watch.

But clearly well done, and well thought out.

It definitely gets tense in many spots. See it through, the ending was just phenomenal.

We enjoyed it. It was good seeing Steven Yeun in another great role. Ali Wong really nailed her role too. Well done.

I am enjoying your movie and show recommendations. Srs. Keep it up because there’s not much to watch anymore.

Just checked it out on my laptop, and saw that someone had watched 2.5 episodes already. Asked my wife and she said she hadn't, so assuming someone had been using my account I logged out of all devices and changed my password. Then I started episode 1 and realised that we gave up on it six months ago. A combination of getting old, watching too much Netflix, and the show not being much to our liking (and/or forgettable) I guess

With so much content available these days, I do the same way too much.

OP, I think I watched the first Beef or two and it didn’t move me so stopped. I’ll have to give it another shot now.

I watched this military movie that takes place by a wall with just a few characters three times before I remembered I’ve seen this before.

The beginning was very fun to watch but I thought it got very unrealistic and off the rails at the end. A very interesting article about one of the actors in the show, he apparently was a homeless graffiti artist in CA before being gifted $200mil in Facebook stock: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2017/09/07/...0-million.html

as much as I hate award shows, last night's Golden Globe sweep by 'Beef' kinda validates what I thought all along - this is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Character complexity and range played a huge role.

I just binged it, it gets silly on steroids and i was probably watching it for all the wrong reasons, however it was worth it.

So I watched a couple of episodes last night seeing as how much buzz there’s been about it.

Unfortunately it didn’t resonate with me in any way. Maybe I need to keep at it …

Same thing with Succession… just didn’t like it after a few episodes.

The first 2 episodes almost lost me. The third episode pulled me back in. The ending was epic.
