Wife/ daughter drop Sub on Concrete
So it finally happened. My Rolex was dropped due to an ounce on negligence.
It hurts worse when it’s not scratches from normal wear. For you all that have had small chips, nice, scrapes... I know it hurts a lot at first, do you eventually get used to it or do I need to plan on seeing if I can get it bugged out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

ouchhhhh! just curious, why did your wife and daughter have your Sub? it doesn't look that bad for a drop on concrete through, certainly could have been worse.

The scuff could have been a lot worse but a drop like this is unforgivable. Divorce the wife and give the kid up for adoption

Have to agree with today's Rolex owners most seem to over exaggerate for what in the real world are tiny dings in often highly magnified pictures.

just think about how much you love your ladies when you look at it. Part of the family let it go if the watch is telling time accurately.

oh, man. that's a bummer. and a terrible spot to be injured. Not sure what I would do. I would probably let it go and hope to get used to it.

I got it, pretty funny.
Sorry to hear Op. $600-750 will get that looking brand new to factory spec from LAWW or Rolliewerks. Assuming it needs to be laser welded. From the picture it appears a regular polish or touch up won’t do the trick. Aside from that though I’d just wear it like that and enjoy, you know future scratches can’t get much worse so you can have some fun with that watch on. |

Maybe either the wife or the daughter dropped it an neither will take responsibility?

That was my first question...
Especially given the TN location. Second question is whether over time, that dent will be that noticeable, given how the rest of the side of the case looks pretty scratched up. But don’t get me wrong, I think battle scars look great on these Rolex steel watches. I personally wouldn’t fix that. |

[QUOTE=G.Montag;10492306]Classy post. I’m surprised you are familiar with such concepts as “wife” and “daughter”, given the SF location
Wow. Not sure why someone would respond to a post they found offensive with another office post |
