Replacing Kermit Bezel?

Has anyone had a Submariner 16610V bezel replaced? What did it cost?

No but I’ll need to at the next service because I dinged it on a door knob.

I think the old one has to go Switzerland HQ before they’ll release a new one and it’ll cost around £400 or £500.

What’s the point in Rolex being silly like that? There are thousands of aftermarket green bezels available that look identical. No one would ever know and anyone who wants to make a black bezel into a franken kermit can. Rolex’s attempt to control this is hopeless and just annoying for genuine owners who want a replacement bezel as the same price as any others cost.

OP buy an aftermarket one and vow never to buy a new Rolex again.

Rolex will no longer just replace the bezel insert I tried with a submariner and was told they will only to a complete service and at that time change the bezel insert quoted $1,100. I sold the watch for twice what I paid and bought a GMT Master ll BLNR which is the watch I really wanted anyway.

I had mine replaced in 2012 and it was $300 at RSC Dallas. I had the bezel replaced on my TT blue Sub at an AD for $75 in 2019.

Kermits of the early series with the "flat 4" bezel insert command higher prices.
If your Kermit has the "flat 4" bezel insert, will RSC replace it with a similar "flat 4" bezel insert?

I think mine was $150...maybe. That was a few years ago. Don't hold me to that...my brain is getting too old.
