Help please will this compromise water resistance?
Hello fellow members
I pumped into a glass door and this is the aftermath,a chip between 5 and 6. Is the watch still good for water use? Btw the Crystal was changed last month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Can’t tell if anything’s looks out of place as I don’t have that one but I slam mine into everything and it’s water resistance is fine

Doesn't look like it would, yet many dealers can do a (dry) pressure test. It can't hurt to have it tested and will give you a bit of peace of mind.

Should be fine. The chip is very small. If it turns into a crack though, time for a replacement. You could always find a watchmaker and have a pressure test to ease your mind.

I wouldn't think that chip would have any effect on water resistance. It looks to be cosmetic only.

Looks fine from the pictures, I’ve certainly done worse.
If it was a big knock and you are worried, most watch places can do a pressure test for you. |

If you walk into any AD, ask them to pressure test it. That way you will know for sure. It should be free of charge

The thing is the watch was serviced by Rolex last month, and had a new crystal.
I really don稚 want to go through this again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not a concern, at least from a water depth perspective.

I would just get it pressure tested and be if it passes just wear it and try not to bump into it again as that might cause a bigger crack Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
