It seems kind of like a hassle to get rid of, we’ll see what happens.

What a great question. Sell the Buckley dialed 1803 for a 1680. As someone who believes the hobby is about buying and selling, and sometimes keeping a watch. My recommendation is to contact a well known, and stocked vintage Rolex dealer and start the discussion. I would absolutely trade this watch if you wanted something else, because you have already spent your time with it. The 1803 that you have is an awesome watch, but not a priceless irreplaceable piece. Regrets just cost more money sometimes. So if sold, and you want it back, you will probably pay more. I will not be around forever, so I would put whatever money / watch trade, I have to work to get the watch that I would like now and enjoy this new watch. Have your best life.

Great advice
Live with no regrets
At the Moment Im being offered 2 Tudors which are a Brand New Harrods Green Insert and a Blue Insert Black Bay with 2000 Cash.
Not sure where I can get a decent 1680 for it.
Last one I was offered was in really rough shape.

Hold out for a nice one. You won’t regret it. 1680 is so much more versatile.
