My AD opened today.

I didn’t shop, but it was just good to see.

Do you think they are going to start selling door-to-door?

Submariner 114060 - in person

Same. Mine opened for the first time as well. Was tempted to go inside and check out what they had in stock. I’m going to follow up with usual SA tomorrow.

My mall Boutique AD is still closed (at least until Friday) but their sister jewelry store/AD is now open for curbside delivery. Usually the two stores have their own inventory and clients but they are saying that all watch inventory is currently at the store.

My business has been open during the whole pandemic and honestly can say not much has changed! Yes we are always sanitizing everything and you get the occasional wacko customer but besides people wearing masks (half them too) things seem no different really!

Same with my AD, but only for curbside pickup (strange phrasing coming from an AD, I know hahah) and appointment to maintain social distancing. Turns out, they also consolidated all of their timepieces from their various stores and boutique to their main location.

This AD is in Houston.

Probably no new inventory since they were closed with Rolex closed.

On the same day I find out that my athlete in Houston has had her local events cancelled for the year, you post that a Rolex AD there has opened. Odd. Mixed feels.

Rolex main office is still close, I don't think ADs will get any new shipment yet.

I had been emailing with 2 of my Rolex AD's. They were closed but still selling and shipping product. Unfortunately, I didn't make a deal with either.

Am I the only one who thinks given the circumstances we find ourselves in, non essential shops are opening up?? Madness surely.

I would not want ANY business to suffer financial hardship and the threat of bankruptcy but I can think of a dozen other businesses that are more essential than high end jewelry.

Dude... if you're not going to say what state you're in, it's not saying much.

Closed here until further notice but I still talk with my AD/friend throughout this period. Some still go in store few times a week so if you want you can still order and have them ship. Only place I’ll step foot into once things open back up is my AD lol. Will go first thing in morning to limit exposure etc haha * shipments later this year * will look for update today tho
