Which one would you buy? BNIB Older or Exc. Cond. Newer
I'm looking to purchase a new Rolex piece from a trusted seller.
Options are: 1. Like new with stickers but from 2018. 2. Card from March 2020 but no stickers in excellent condition with tiny marks. Price is the same for both watches. So Longer warranty card or stickers (ie. no use)? Please use the poll above. Thanks! Last edited by Zoomerang; 30 April 2020 at 12:41 PM.. Reason: Update |

Would depend on the "tiny marks" for me. Hate to give a non-answer, but let's be real about ourselves here. We obsess over the minutia.

Are you going to wear it or sell it? 2020 if you plan to keep it since you’ll have full warranty before costs are yours.

Cost is the same. #1 seller agreed to match #2 price.

If it’s a keeper I would prefer the marks to be mine.

On the other hand, they might always bother me. I like what someone above said about preferring to know that any marks are from you if it's to be a keeper. So my final answer is... I'd save more money until I could afford a brand new one with full warranty and no marks |

The 2020 for sure for the extra warranty.
If you are going to wear it, that unworn 2018 will look like the 2020 in a few days anyway. |

OP go with 2018 new unless you want that "peace of mind" warranty although it is a Rolex |

Personally once I wear a watch it gets scratches and I'm cool with that. So I'd choose the one with a longer warranty. If you have a preference with it being boxfresh then perhaps the older one.
It's difficult not to scratch a polished watch worn every day if you act normally. |
