Yes. They are totally off putting to me too. They look like bondage gear to me.. Not that I actively look for bondage gear online you understand..

Cool!
And a good way to mix things up. I think the root beer can go on any number of brown straps.

There's a good joke there somewhere, just need to tie down all the loose ends to figure it out

I do like the colour of the leather, it suits the CHNR. Is is dark brown or burgundy?

Great watch. Never understood why people call it the Rootbeer, a splash of brown on the bezel is long way from the Rootbeer. The closest modern rolex to the Rootbeer is the TT Yachtmaster with brown dial.

It's dark brown, see large pic at https://amzn.to/2AvN2pC . Like the Rootbeer, you really need to see the combo in person as pics don't do it justice imho.

I try not to come off as a snob, but I prefer Rolex watches with their original bracelet. That said, I'm sure that when you can't swing a dead cat without hitting someone wearing a Rolex; some individuals like to personalize their watches.

I think that's fantastic. If we all liked the same thing, everyone would want to be married to my wife.
