Crazy to turn down a Deep Sea JC?

Just got offered this from an AD. Not sure I want it. Had it previously but sold it. Missed it a bit but for a while only.

Only reason I would buy this one if its collectable or if it is likely to be discontinued soon. Just as an investment piece.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I know the usual mantra about let someone else have it who loves it etc.....that appeals to me as well to a certain degree

You're not sure you want it and you're ony buying as a potential investment...

For those two reasons alone I would suggest you do not buy the watch.

It’s such a unique watch in terms of size, i don’t see these being particularly difficult to get. I’m getting one for a buddy and I’ve seen lots of solid deals from sellers. A little limited at the AD level but not many guys are able to wear that watch.

Thats why I am not desperate for it. Don't like the way it sits. I bought two SD43s for my two boys in 2018 and they love them - I too love that watch far more than the Deep Sea.

I don't care about the profit. No intention to sell or flip it. Just wondered whether people think it will be a collectable piece in a few years time.

If it doesn’t float your boat then maybe leave alone, I’m no expert but I think as said it’s not a watch for everyone so investment wise maybe not the best piece.
