Advice on Next Purchase

Need help deciding on next watch. My current collection: BLNR (Oyster Bracelet), Omega Speedmaster Pro, JLC MUT (Black Dial). I've narrowed it down to:

Rolex 114060 - If I didn't already have the BLNR I would definitely get this. But the sub seems way too similar to the GMT to me so it's hard for me to imagine really wanting to have both (I know that runs counter to the general consensus on this forum where a ton of people own several similar looking watches). The ceramic bezel, tapering bracelet, and microadjust are huge pluses though.

Omega Seamaster 300m Ceramic (White Dial) - I love the the white dial and the way it contrasts with the black accents and bezel (it's also similar to ceramic white dial Daytona which I would get if its price weren't so marked up). I like the fact that it is different than all my black dialed watches, has microadjust, and has a ceramic bezel. I'm not a huge fan of the bracelet's aesthetics and the fact that it doesn't taper.

Black Bay 58 - I love the look and size of this watch, esp the gilt accents on the dial. I also like the idea of going with a new brand as I already have a Rolex and an Omega. But I dislike the lack of ceramic bezel (I'm a clumsy person so more prone to accidentally scratching the bezel) and the lack of microadjust (really appreciate this on my GMT). And I'm somewhat worried that I might get tired of the faux vintage touches (rivets, gilt bezel, etc).

Giving what you already have, BB58 seems like it would be a great addition. Can't go wrong with either of the other two, though.

I have a ceramic Seamaster (blue) as well as the 114060 and based on what you’ve got I’d go Omega. It’s truly unique.

I vote Submariner, but you make a good point about being similar to GMT. Here’s the reality......with having several choices, you run the risk of not being satisfied. You might always be wondering about one of the other ones you didn’t choose. Therefore, I’d purchase one that gives you the potential of recovering your investment if you don’t love your choice.

Omega.
That seamster is hands down the best bang for the buck on the luxury watch market.
I've got the silver dial version and absolutely love it.

I wouldn’t do that when the market is the most overvalued in history; when assessing on cyclically adjusted price earnings ratio, and MKt valuation over gdp

Two rolex one omega and one jlc sounds good to me

But if branding is a non issue. Tudor is still the best bang for buck

This where I'm starting to come around to. Even though I'm leaning more towards the Tudor/Omega in terms of aesthetics, the Rolex is arguably a lower risk since it's likely the easiest decision to reverse financially.

I agree that the prudent thing is to invest money over spending it on luxury goods so stating that isn't particularly groundbreaking or helpful. You really should have recommended selling the BLNR too as that would be an even more prudent decision.

Considering that the vast majority of professional fund managers can't beat the market, I highly doubt that you have some special insight into market timing.

But the 114060 is not the same as a GMT - it’s less complicated, no date and only 3 hands - not even by far the “same watch”

I have the same dilemma as you where the BLNR looks too much like a black SubC. I would opt for a Hulk (since it’s quite different) or a Tudor Pelagos.
