Saw this really cool govt issued Tudor Black Bay on Facebook

Not my watch, was posted by a someone on the Tudor watch forums Facebook page.

The gentlemen is part of the Royalty and Specialist Protection team who protect the Royal Family, Government VIP's and visiting heads of state. This is his Tudor Black Bay RaSP limited edition. No. 60 of 75 ever made.

Thought it was really cool!

That's really cool I didn't know Tudor had done a UK Gov collaboration - wonder if there are any more?

Just that one from the UK Gov as far as I'm aware. Imagine in 10-20 years they will start appearing on the 2nd hand market as people sell them on.

There's a bloke in Singapore who has got one already so somebody must of sold one already.

French also had a special edition, as did Italians? (I think) and there's the Qatar one.

Cool watch.

It’s a shame to see these come up for sale.

When brands do these low number sprint runs they are really meant for the people in the unit/division/force they are made for. The more that come up for sale the less likely brands are to do it again.

I have read about those. Always nice to see a photo. Wonder how much they will fetch if one does present itself in the for sales section...

These are not issued but made available by private purchase to former and current members of the RaSP through Watches of Switzerland (UK dealers). They were not commissioned by the government either but were commissioned directly by the RaSP (a division of the Metropolitan Police).

Wos did another limited edition Pelagos, 59 of these based on 59 Ind Cdo SQN RE.

There was an article somewhere about these which my technological skills have failed to locate.

It’s a great piece.

That's an interesting distinction that you pointed out. I wonder how many Ed Sheeran Divide Black Bay Tudor produced.
