I mean, you can get a ceramic-bezel Christopher Ward Trident, which comes with an excellent bracelet, for much less than the BB. And the Trident is a great watch for the price. But when you put it next to the more expensive watches, the difference is really obvious. In the end, a ceramic bezel isn't what makes a watch high-end. (But, I do also think an aluminum bezel at the BB's price point isn't quite kosher.) |

The bezel matches the design ethos of the current watch I think.
They offer a Pelagos of you like ceramic. Because ceramic is super cool, like a dinner plate or other kitchenware. Prob in a few years they might tho. If enough people want it. |

Personally I really like how the Black Bay 58 blue is executed. In fact I'm tempted to pick one up. It will go nicely with my Tudor Black Sub. |

By this logic no Rolex should be offered with a steel bezel (OP, Datejust, EXP) because steel is not expensive enough to be on a bezel for a watch in that pricebracket?
