Does selling after recent purchase hurt relationship with AD?

I am very happy that you have that kind of money, but am also confused.

You say you’ve received “quite a few” desirable references

Which makes me feel like you haven’t received all of them

If I’m not mistaken, the most desirable references are: Daytona, BLNR, BLRO, SubDate LV, SkyDweller Blue, Patek 5711 Blue

Couldn’t you have bought all of the above at grey prices for about $200k?

And be done and save money?

If you flip something like an SS Daytona I would say 100% will hurt your relationship. After purchasing my Blnr (Batman) my AD did mention just in conversation if i sell it to please keep it off the internet...I have no plans to however if I did I would talk to him first as I do share my collective thoughts with him on my collection and he did go between for me on a few sales already..I do have a good an honest relationship with my AD who is a WIS as well.
