Need to be a pledge for WTB as well?

I know you must pledge to post a for sale ad.

But I was about to post a wanted ad, and it appears I cannot because I am not currently a pledge member. Has it always been this way?

I guess I should pledge as I have a few spare parts I could off load... Just curious; maybe there is something else I'm doing wrong.

When I was more active I was a pledge member, so didn't notice.

So, I guess the answer is "yes"?

A few years ago you didn't need to be, but we were smaller in numbers.

We have been combatting the fraudsters and con men preying on members which is never-ending. It seems that many of them will not spend or invest for their scams, so this weeds out a good portion.

Internet scams are a multi-billion dollar industry and so our little forum struggles when it comes to leveling the field.
