It is hard to justify the $2,000 price difference, especially if one can’t inspect them in person (only looking at internet pics and videos). But when you see it (fluted) in person, it is worth it

Here’s a video of mine that (I think) captures just how impactful the fluted bezel is...

I have been thinking of doing the same, I am regretting not getting the fluted version now when I bought it new, it just feels more ‘classic’ DJ. Also the smooth bezel really shows the scratches, I wear it every day.

I need to ask my AD how long it will take to get a fluted DJ though, this was the first I have bought and it was an allocation piece back then, I was relatively lucky to get it as they had it earmarked for a customer who didn’t want it for 6 months, and were able to change the dial for me.

Yours looks great! Did you buy the second one new form your AD?

I went with diamond dial, had the same doubt as you and then my AD showed me both, had to go with this dial.

THanks for all the input guys! Went ahead and placed my order.

Went with:

Jubilee
Sticks
Blue dial
Fluted

was told 8 to 12 weeks but could be sooner!
Hoping to get it in time for my wedding. Will update with photos once I get it.

Oh, cool. That's good to know. Didn't realize that. I'll give my AD a ring tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up.
