Date change

So I’ll change the subject from sub-mania. Is the gmt supposed to change the date at 12 sharp? Mine changes a little after as you can see in the pic it still shows 31.

Tolerance out of the factory and after a service is a date change between 23:59 and 00:02.

It’s actually the position of the hand placement when affixed to the watch. It can be corrected but hardly worth it.

Normal.

ALL my Rolex's change around 00:05 - 00:10. This is ranging from GMT2, Sub-C, DD40 and Skydweller.

NONE of them change bang on at midnight. As long as its flipped over by say latest 00:15 its fine.

So all of them are significantly out of spec, nice.

I dont think I've ever owned a Rolex that has changed within the spec your mentioning. I've had over 20+ now. Most probably 90% of them changed around 00:04 - 00:07.

it's normal and common , but it must be mentioned that it can still be adjusted with better precision, you can simply mention it to RSC once you will service the watch.
