I much prefer the silver snoopy dial. That one was dynamite.
Not a fan of the blue motif. Also, I prefer the Snoopy cartoon on the prior version to the one shown here. The caseback is pretty cool. Does this version come with a metal bracelet too? Not sure I dig the strap. Overall, will pass on this one

Like the 45, it was great, but with the 50th anniversary script, it takes to much away.

I never got any kind of impression this was going to be a hard to get watch from the discussion. That may be apropos of nothing, but that was my interaction today. |

In top 3 favorite Speedmasters for me. I’d take the 50th anniversary off the front

I'm 22nd on the list at my Omega Boutique so I'm guessing Q3 or Q4 2021 delivery. I like the "What would you do in 14 seconds" and the Snoopy Lume on the 45th anniversary but every thing else about this 50th is better IMO. I love the silver and blue, the silver snoopy and of coarse the back. This will be my first Speedy and although it's about $1500 over priced I'm getting one.

I love it. Blue and white, particularly a darker blue, is so crisp.

I think it's a really cool-looking Speedmaster and the back is fantastic. Just having trouble stomaching the price tag. I can't come to terms with spending that much and not going "all the way" for the 321.

Having chewed on it overnight, here's my thoughts.
Initial reaction (a few seconds in) it was a solid no. The more I looked at it and saw the features the more I liked it. I think the caseback is great and i really like that the dial is actual silver. The problem kicks in when, like I do with any watch purchase, I ask myself "when will you wear this". It's a reasonable question for a $10k watch. The short answer (to myself) is I have no idea. I wouldn't wear it to the office (I have the hesalite speedie and a Sub for that). It's more of a weekend watch to me. I believe that the tone of blue will be quite a bit brighter than the pictures make it out to be. It's a fun watch for sure. But do I want $10k of fun on my wrist? I think I'd rather go for an OP41 if I wanted 'fun'. The ultimate kicker I think is the caseback which has a lot of appeal. But to buy a watch for the caseback would be a waste for me as the novelty would likely wear out after a week or two. I'm conflicted on this. I really wanted to like it, but I think therein lies the problem. |

I like the materials used but definitely having a Snoopy on the dial isn't for me. I am rather fond of the new 321 SS though, but not sure if I'll ever even get to try that one on due to the rarity. it would be nice if a boutique in all towns had a "dummy" model of all watches that are on a waiting list to view and try on prior to playing your name on a list.

This piece is absolutely incredible. So many cool details! I know it's pricey and unlikely to hold it's value in the long term, but I really don't care. It won't tank in value, and that's good enough for me.
Buy it and enjoy it! Deposit down this morning, and now the wait begins! |

I like the watch and the blue is nice. A hard no on the cost and this watch as a regular production model will see significant discounts from AD's as soon as the novelty wears off and it will be a 6-7k watch in the secondary market soon enough. That is when I may be a buyer unless one of the other overpriced Omega's jumps in front of this one.

FWIW, we are seeing discounts on the last of the Apollo 11 releases out here. I think they're struggling to shift them now that those that wanted them have got them. And that was a true "limited" edition. Be interesting to see how this plays out. I expect the first batches to be flipped for profits and then in 12 months time easily available at ADs. |

I think they ruined it by marking it up with “50th Anniversary”. I absolutely can’t stand anything that is made to be “Collectable” from the beginning.

I'm really liking the negative comments about the watch so far...........will make it much easier for those who do like it, to get one quicker!!!!
As far as supposed production numbers, I've heard from 2 different OB out here in SoCal, that over the next 2 years, approximately 5,000 units, then, slowly ramping down over the next few years......... |

hm...looks a lot more Tudor-Pelagos-blue in those pictures than in the initial pictures.

I didn't noticed the 50th anniversary on the sub dial at first glance...not loving it! I like subtle commemoration not in your face, like the broad arrow on my NTTD.

The pics above in no way really should be used for judging the visual color / balance, bad use of flash. Of all the timepieces here, the CHNR can be a beast to photo. Hopefully someone with good camera skills shows up soon for Snoopy.
