AP 100%. I'm sorry, but Rolex just doesn't do it for me.

If both at MSRP, SS Daytona win, iconic.
But if you have to pay for the same price at Grey, 26315ST win.

How would you owners compare the 26331 (41mm yes?) vs the 26315 (38mm?)
Is it just the size, weight and scale difference or something else please? Silver with Blue sub dials is beautiful |

Back to the original question though, AP all day. The daytona is a nice watch (I've owned a couple of WG versions but never the ceramic) but the steel watches do nothing for me at market price. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk

Man that AP is something else! What’s MSRP on this piece?
Oh and between the two...AP.

I vote AP (and I own both Daytona and AP). I am curious if you post this question in the rolex discussion forum if you get the same overwhelming response.

Believe this was posted recently in the Rolex discussion forum and the consensus was overwhelmingly for the AP.

Absolutely convinced now that I won’t get the daytona unless it’s retail then I’ll get both. For now it’s the AP at retail. :):)

Something I haven’t heard others mention is the outer colored ring on the 26315 is more noticeable compared to the ring on the 26331. I haven’t seen them side by side but in relation to the dial it looks proportionally bigger on the 26315. I immediately notice the colored ring on the 38mm smaller face but notice it only after looking carefully at the 26331. |

I love the 26315 and think it’s more sporty whereas the 26331 is a little more elegant due to the colored ring and overall proportions.

The seconds sub dial is also more balanced on the 26315 IMO because it isn't as noticeably smaller as it is on the 26331

Likely answer is that post lockdown I just need try them both on. Aesthetically I prefer the 26315ST with the Silver dial and Blue sub dials which is just beautiful and always photographs well. And if I feel the 38mm 26315 is a tad small on my wrist I’ll default back to the 26331ST (Blue dial with silver sub dials) 41mm that I’ve already registered an interest for. Thanks again |

In all honestly both are great watches and if I hadn't owned the 41mm I woukd have been gravitating towards the 38mm as it wears closer to a more "normal" size of about 40mm. Try then both and you will know. It might be as a simple as preferring the white with blue subdials that swings it one way or the other. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk

My wrist is 6.75in and the 41mm wears fine. Having more presence on the wrist does make it look more sporty rather than dressy though. At your wrist size you should have no problem with either. Just try them both on the choose the one that pulls at your heart the most.

I’m positive I’ll carry off/like the 41mm but prefer the dial on the 38mm.....so if I try a 38mm on vs the 41mm that’s what is needed to settle on a decision as the next purchase after my new 15500. |

Absolutely. Thank you once again. I’m hoping to get my 15500 41mm Blue in the next few months so before trying on the 41mm or 38mm it’s the latter that I’m edging towards.....and slightly prefer the Silver dial with sub Blue dials (38) as more of a difference to the Blue 15500/Blue (41mm with Silver sub dials) on the larger chrono. However if the 38mm is just too small I’ll have to pass on the dial configuration much as I love it. Hope that rationale makes sense?! |

OP, I found this old photo (116509 vs 26331). If you were going PM daytona it's a tougher call, but AP still edges it for me. Not a direct comparison to your question, but we've gone a little OT here so throwing the picture in all the same :) Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk

Sorry if I’m being dense but isn’t that the 26315 38mm? Given the Silver dial and Blue sub dials? |
