I like the red inscription a lot but not so much the emblem.

I also agree that a Limited Edition should run to a maximum 1,000 units in order to mean anything.

Their 6,000 "Patch" run and this 8,000 new model is stretching the "Limited" motif way too far. Even the 1957 run of the enamel dialed version and the 1970 Alaska pieces are stretching it a bit.

If you are a collector who specialises in special editions I think it is worth considering but I would not buy it. Step by step they are dismantling the original Speedy Pro. The connection with 'the moon watch' is all but gone.

What I would do is re-issue the exact watch that was used in the Apollo missions and present that as an anniversary watch.
This is an attractive watch. Those little changes attract attention back to the brand and back to the model. An entirely red second hand or sub dials might have made it pop a little more though.
