LAWW for refinishing Pateks
Anyone use LAWW, or any other reputable independent shop, instead of HSWA to polish/refinish a Patek?
Reason I ask is that HSWA/Patek gives you a lot less control over the polishing job. They insist on polishing the whole watch and will only laser weld if they determine absolutely necessary—they would rather take-off metal if the ding is small enough when I’d rather weld. And what if I only want the bezel very lightly touched up? Patek won’t do it. Love to hear thoughts and experiences. |

I had a 5905P that went back to HSWA for a warranty repair. One of the pushers was loose. They fixed it but they also dinged or dented the caseback while doing the fix. I took it to LAWW and they fixed it. Cheap. Around $60 if I remember correctly. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them fix your watch.
