16519 daytona pricing

Wondering what people on here think a good deal on a Zenith Daytona 16519 on a leather strap would be? I'm seeing prices ranging from 27k to 45k. What's fair market price for this?

There's one on C24 for $26k. Whether a no box, no papers watch from a dealer with no reviews and no contact info turns out to be a good deal only experiment can show.

I'm not the biggest fan of this dial or the leather strap. Would not buy just b/c the price seems less "crazy" than $35k for a DaytonaC.

It’s a zenith which is often preferred and the leather is actually pretty nice to switch up from rolex. You can get a lot of looks. Finally the bracelets are not as great as later versions so you get a really cool watch. I’ve never walked in the room and seen someone else wear the same watch

How does a Zenith watch differ from any other daytona? Is it more collectible?

Yes, because at the time Rolex did not had its own chronometer movement developed and relied on Zenith as the supplier for the movement on their 1652X models. Many prefer the original Zenith movement variant over the later Rolex inhouse version

I have one and love it. One of my favorite piece and wear it the most.
It is so comfortable, super nice but unstated, versatile from short to suits, and the leather strap for a Rolex is special for this. The white gold make it special because only you and enthusiasts will know. The dial with the white gold is also just perfect.

For long term consideration:
Zenith is sought after from collectors and this reference 16519 white gold is the rarest to find as not many was made and sold.

Chrono24 is saying (take it for what it is only) estimated worth is $37k with range of $32-41k. Pay what you willing only and I paid much less and grateful for that. Mine had box, good service history and newish service card. My AD watchmaker opened it up and said it looks really nice and clean in there. Haha even they said they don’t see this much if at all so really liked it.

Good reading here https://thewatchlounge.com/rolex-zen...ew-with-price/
