Nothing is impossible, but judging on the recent past it is a challenge.
I was on the waiting list of the 5726 grey dial for few years but then it got discontinued. My AD offered me a compromise to move me to the 5712 list (and thank god he did). The slimness on that thing is really amazing. I believe it took me few years to get a steel nautilus. But as a piece of advice stay away from the 5711 waiting list.
It is the most crowded one. I believe the logic behind that is because it is the most affordable nautilus at retail and nothing more.
