My GMT Master ii just got back from service.
1. Chipped Sapphire Crystal replaced
2. Cracked ceramic bezel replaced
3. Damaged winder replaced
4. Heavy scratching to the case and bracelet repaired.

All after 10 years of daily wear.

So yes, I wear my watches, they are not safe queens but daily companions

My son chastises me for how I, I his words, 'abuse' my watches... but thats what they are made for, not treating as a fragile piece of male jewellery

I wear each and every one of my watches. There are no safe queens and I am not a flipper. I love watches too much to flip one.

I wear ‘em! Doesn’t matter to me if I’m on a derrick floor, fishing, or in a tuxedo. These watches are made to wear. It’s survived this long, after all.

I wear and USE all of my watches. I'll admit, I was rather precious about my first Rolex but once it got a few scratches I just said f$#k it and now wear all of my watches without thinking about them much. Yes, they get scratches/dings/dents but life is short and I'm not planning on selling these anytime soon so I'd rather USE them vs. have them sit in my watch box.

I wear all of mine EXCEPT my DRSD and 1958 5508. The bracelets are not as reassuring as I would like.

Only got the two from Rolex and I can't see that changing, I have everything I need and then some.

My 124060 (2021 ND Sub) is my every day watch and goes everywhere with me. Like others have already mentioned, I am not silly with it and if I am going to start an activity in which my watch might get damaged, it comes off. My wife often takes the p1ss and asks me 'are you wearing your (insert activity here) watch'!

My 126710 BLNR (2019 GMT Master II on Jubilee) is my night time watch, I love how this thing plays with the light in the evening and I spend hours just looking at it. It came fully stickered and originally came from an AD on Daytona beach in Florida (which adds a bit of cool if you ask me). I was reluctant to remove the stickers as it was perfect, but these things are supposed to be enjoyed and it wasn't purchased as an investment.

I really do think its a crying shame these watches are bought as squirrelled away as investments. There are so many people out there who want to buy, own and enjoy wearing these watches and can't because people are hoarding them away.
