Red Sub

This sub was already removed from another forum - after the seller was caught failing to mention the dial was refinished. He has also been selling vintage watches and parts for quite sometime. Go figure.

The dial is refinished, so I assume he means an original dial, which wouldn't make it "fake." But, I'm under the caution flag on this one, I know I'm not buying it, even if I had three, genuine red dials in the safe waiting for a vintage, red Submariner.

Man...I leave for a few weeks and all the fun starts...maybe Orchi's eyes are better, but the bezel insert appears blue, or "un-naturally" aged...I have bought a few parts from these guys over the years, boxes, manuals, etc....but this really seems over the top. The sad part is in this economy someone will think they are getting a "fire sale" deal, and all they are getting is a bad case of gas...glad to be home

Red Sub

I am no expert but the top of the second three in the serial number is higher and the bottom lower than the third three. Its not just wavy, the threes of which there are four of them are all different.

This item has ended.

There were two offers but they weren't taken, I have a feeling this will be back.
