To each his own, I guess. I derive much more pleasure from displaying my watches in a fun way than I could from any meal at Applebee's.... |

I drop mine in the valet tray next to my bed. I see the appeal of putting one’s watch in the same place every night. Not my deal.

Just get the ones from AliExpress. And there are some on Ebay and Etsy.
They are the same. Marble is marble. Also PU leather and real leather on a watch stand makes ZERO difference. You cant even tell. I currently have 2 one with black marble base and one with the white marble base. |

I recently bought a few stands from EstimoArt on Etsy and am quite pleased with them.

It amazes me that we are saying spending $200+ on a watch stand is ridiculous because it serves a simple purpose... As we have on a $10-$50k+ device that tells us what time it is.

Disagree. Yes, most may be made of stainless; mine aren't. I'm not laying mine down on the side like the peasants...a stand costs < $50. Ball up.

This is proper storage, no matter the watch construction material.

I get that, I really do - but how much did you invest in research and development? I mean, it's a watch stand - do you really need to charge more than 10 times higher than the counterfeiters? Maybe help your customers help you? The same goes for your watch cases, too.

Vendors in certain countries are able to copy a product without legal repercussions, lower the prices by a lot, undercut competition and the biggest issue, offer free shipping. I've read an article that it's easier to buy a coffee mug from China than buy one locally here, because some sort of deal/treaty/... whatever that makes this free shipping possible. That's wrong. So a shop based in Europe, with R&D, marketing, taxes, employees, website, ... the usual overhead that means you can't sell these for 20 USD/EURO. You simply can't. You're likely already looking at 100 euro minimum to keep everything going. |

I have been using stands from thewatchstand.com for a year now and I absolutely love them. It’s a very elegant and safe way to store your watch when you go for sleep. I recommend!

I dont do any smoking pastimes but this spare part is ideal for a watch stand turn it upside down and the watch on bracelet just sits lovely on its side.
Doesn’t touch the table and can’t scratch as its silicon. Very inexpensive and last forever. Safe link to eBay below. Select silicone bowl from dropdown menu. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184635912984 |

People want quality and prefer a US/European made product but not at that price point. So the company then decides to produce it in Asian countries and the US/Euro made tag disappears and consumers think it's cheap. |
