Would these fit together in a collection

What your thoughts about these two in a collection

I would try to source the dial instead. Kind of a waste to buy both imo.

Thats overlap.

At least get 1 YG and 1RG. No need for 2 x YG DD40s

Although I've seen some collections with like 10+ subs. I never understood those types of collections.

From the distance that most folks will see the watches on your wrist, most folks (unless they’re Rolex enthusiasts) won’t be able to tell one from the other. They will just see a gold Rolex with a President bracelet. So just choose the one you like the most. But if you’re planning on holding the dial in front of everyone’s face, go for both.

Feels redundant to me...but then again, you see a lot of collections with variations of Subs & GMT's. But yeah, to me it seems redundant.

Well with 2 versions of the WG Sub why not?

But I'd personally say no to this idea Jr. At least with the Subs you have Blue/Blue and Blue/Black and with this its just the dial differences. No go.

Now if you want a to add a RG/WG DD I'd say yes but no to this idea. But as others have stated its your money. Not everyone has to agree with how we build our collections.

I would not. With so many other options I would not but two PM watches that are that similar. YG Daytona, YG Submariner, YG GMT would all strike a note.

Your money …

It’s a lot of money for me , I own two however one is white gold and one is yellow gold. If money wasn’t an object I’d probably have 4 yellow gold models with different dials

Too similar for me. If wanting two Day Dates I’d at least do different metals and dials.
