FS: 1970 Omega Speedmaster 145.022 -69 Pre-Moon

Hello,

I’m pleased to offer a handsome Omega Speedmaster Professional reference 145.022- 69 from 1970. With a lovely dial, clean DON bezel and classic 1039 bracelet, this one is overall a respectable pre-moon example.

CASE: 42mm asymmetrical case. Appears to have been lightly polished but retains good lines with no major dings or dents. Hippocampus caseback has a crisp engraving, and the start/stop pusher shows a little dent around the edge.

DIAL AND HANDS: Step dial with wide spaced T’s. Color is a rich black with a light sheen in certain lights. The tritium markers have taken on a nice yellow tone. Lume in hands in largely intact, and both hands and dial markers glow when exposed to light and then fade rather quickly.

BEZEL: Super clean DON/Dot Over Ninety with no chips or dings.

MOVEMENT: Calibre 861 winds smoothly and gains about a minute per day. Service history unknown. Chronograph functions properly.

BRACELET: 1039 w/ 516 endlinks appears to be in good condition with minimal play, no major scuffs or scratches. Bracelet will fit approximately 7.5” wrist
