Which period is this 16700 insert?

Hi guys, I just found and bought this piece of insert from a parts shop. Can anyone tell which period of this one? I found it is quite special with such big font size and I don't think I have seen one of the same before.

Looks like a serif insert from mid-late '90s. I have a similar (same?) on my 16700. One observation is that the "2s" on the OP's insert don't appear consistent. The solo "2" doesn't appear to have the serif marks, but the "22" does. Perhaps it's just the lighting.

Maybe Springer can offer more details. He knows these inserts inside and out.

Seriff insert from the 1990s - mid to late 1990s. I've seen these inserts where the seriffs are not always equal with some of the inserts having partial seriffs.

The previous version of the 16700/16710 insert did not have the seriffs and the numerals were different - thinner and somewhat taller.
