Incoming Tudor Sub

Just got this new (to me) Tudor sub 79190B. The condition is very very good. I have however one problem. I've removed 2 links and that's all the links I'm able to remove and it's still half a link too large for my 6.25" wrist. I'm not used to wearing watch this loose. But the watch is pretty light, compare to my SD43, so maybe I'll get use to it. Or maybe I'll have to swap a nato strap? It's late at night, maybe I'll get better shots when I have some sunny outdoor shots later =)

Rolliworks does a permanent link removal that works on the 5 digit bracelets.

Congratulations I’ve always loved that watch. Back in 1992 I bought a black 75090 as I to have a 6 1/4 inch wrist, I felt the 79090 was to large at the time. I’ve always regretted not getting the larger size. I wore the 75090 daily everyday until the summer of 2018 when it finally needed service and a friend who was into watches pointed out to me just how much my Tudor was worth. I ended up first getting a 37mm YM as a replacement which is the most underrated watch in the Rolex sports watch line. Congratulation’s again on the new Tudor that watch has more class than any new watch you can buy.

Congratulations on your Tudor , the Blue is really something & it will be a long time before you see one on another wrist in real life . I have a Blue 79090 & I think its a special watch to own & wear

That looks amazing on you OP!

I'd certainly look into getting a couple more links taken out if needed. You'll enjoy wearing it more if it's a good fit. IMO keep the bracelet instead of going to a NATO.

Congratulations, it’s beautiful. I’m sorry I didn’t buy one years ago when they were affordable back in the early 1990’s.

They're only 1 hr drive from my home. I'll definitely visit them. Meanwhile I'll see how it feels.

I was thinking to see if I modern Tudor fabric strap will fit. The bracelet looks really great, in mint condition, which makes me want to keep it that way. I'll give it some more thought and figure out what to do next haha. Gotta love these first world problems =p
