Rolex image. Pros? Cons?
Thought I would take a quick try at watch photography. Am really more of a nature photographer...
Anyways, am open on ways to improve or things to change for a future photo. https://500px.com/photo/1039182550/t...7532;-커 Thanks |

Fantastic shot! I really like your background choices and the lighting is great. I love it. What did you use? I used to be really into photography when I was a lot younger but life got so busy that I sort of fell back on the Smart phone cameras. I have an Olympus DSLR with two lenses but it's now 13 years old.
I used to be able to do a lot with my old Minolta Maxxum SLR from the '90s. I had the top of the line body back in the day. LOL That thing, when combined with good quality film, took amazing pictures. I am tempted to go back to it and try to develop my own prints someday as a hobby. Please post more! |

Nice
All I would say is that as it's called "Travel Plans" an Explorer II or GMT might be suitable..

Pros of the Rolex image include heritage, historical provenance, cultural awareness, precision watchmaking at scale, historical watchmaking milestones.
Cons include negative association with wealth, Instagram clout culture, narcissism... ...oh, you meant your photography? Looks great! |

Nice. I would’ve tightened in a bit more. And I can see your reflection and that of your light box.
