Opinions on this Red Sub

Hello,
I’m considering picking this one up as I’ve been on the hunt for a nice red sub for a while now. Thoughts? Curious everyone’s opinion on the lume here..

Thanks!

Lume looks good, the hands are a little worse for wear. Any additional shots? What’s the bracelet situation?

It appears someone worked over the bottom lug, especially the left one, way too much. The dial and hands appear to be nice and original. The insert looks correct with a later pearl.

Thank you both! I didn’t even pick up on the lugs at first look- much appreciated.

The black background makes it hard to evaluate the lugs/case.

That 2nd dial photo is CRISP! Great shot.

dial and insert look nice (just commenting on looks, not authenticity). Unfortunately uneven polishing, each lug on the case has a different thickness.

Everyone has a different tolerance for case unevenness, so would factor in your sensitivity to it and price as part of the purchase decision.

Yeah, I’ve been focused so much on dial, lume, insert that a quick glance of bevels made me forget to look at the lugs. Can’t Un-see it now though so that’s a dealbreaker for me on this one. Thank you so much guys!!

I like the dial - the lume has a "waffle" texture (some lume showed a little more texture than others).

For me personally, it makes the markers pop a bit more when wearing. Hands as others have said are rough. I'm a little less lug sensitive than others -- it is a 50+ year old watch after all. And of course, do your diligence on case markings, movement, etc.
