Over thirty marathons with my Sub, at least the same number with my Aquanaut. And well over 1000 training miles. Never a problem. I like rubber straps the best.

I only use my iPhone. No watches of any kind.

Apple Watch. Measures distance, records data. Also displays heart rate, and then I can get an ECG too.
I had open heart surgery to repair a defective valve, so it’s always nice to see that my heart is healthier than ever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Apple Watch for me, almost never Rolex - just on vacation or business trips. My Apple Watch has GPS, music, and Apple Pay and I can get phone calls and text messages.
Not taking a phone but still being connected is a huge plus to me. I also use the Nike Running Club App to track my runs and compete with friends. Love the ability to see pace and distance too. |

I really can't understand the hesitency to wear a Rolex while running. I personally wear whatevers on my wrist at the time (with the exception of leather straps which get soaked with sweat).

I think you’re missing the point some of us had made above. Why would I wear a Rolex instead of my Apple Watch when jogging? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a Casio ProTrek for running in the summer and x-country skiing in the winter.

I don't think you get the point. I don't own an Apple Watch. My Garmin Vivosmart 4 is more that adequate for my tracking needs. I've no need to futz with what's on my wrist; what's there stays there. Aside from that I can easily tell what time it is without touching anything.

If I wear a watch while working out, it would be my heart rate monitor (Polar). Otherwise, I wouldn't wear a watch while working out. But, to each his own if you want to wear your Rolex while running, although it would seem odd to me to do so.

Marathon runner here.
Would never wear a steel watch for running or racing. But I always wear my garmin, even for short distances. |

I don’t wear a watch when working out. I had an Apple Watch but sold it. If you don’t wear it all the time it seems pointless and I’d much rather wear a proper watch most of the time.

Submariner. Perfect running tool. Set bezel run for half desired times… turnaround run home. Workout done in exactly the time you’ve allotted. Thank you diving bezel.
