Rolex 1680 red mark 2 or mark 3??

I come accross serial 236xxxx
So it should be around 1970 early. Caseback is 1.70
I am wandering is the dial mark 2 or mark 3 it looks like mark 3
The engraving i saw in serial number does not have the stainless steel.
Under the uv the hand seems to light the marker looks like dots2 of light is it relume?
Is the bezel correct period?

From that pic the hands might be ok…..the insert is definitely a later service part for that watch…..do the hands or dial glow for any period after exposing it to sunlight?

The dial looks like Mark 3 but would be nice if we could see the crown and upper text. See links.

Bezel insert is not of early 70’s period. Helpful links…

Mark 1 and 2 are meters first, Mark 3 and 4 are are feet first.
Mark 2 have a red submariner less large than the depth line and the f looks legit.

this is a Mark II
hands are relumed
bezel insert is aftermarket

(PS: to the post above from ' Nicus' : Mark III is also meters first, actually much rarer than Mark II)

I will ask for more picture today. I thought this was mark 3 because the sub is thicker?

Check the links I provided above and you should see it looks very much like a mark3 dial.

Sorry if I shared wrong info on mark3 details, this was commonly described as a feet first on French websites
