Daytona Zenith Clasp Question

I have two Zenith Daytona’s. The first a TT has the basic clasp shown in the photo without the later fliplock. The clasp is OEM and all SS exactly the same as the photo.

Does anybody know which year that the basic clasp was discontinued in favor of the later fliplock version?

I’ve looked on C24 and seem to see 1988/89 with the basic clasp.

Thanks in advance.

This chart is incorrect or outdated in multiple ways. I’m updating it and will answer the OP’s question later today
