Hard to tell from the pictures. It's an L series which puts it at circa 1989. Personally, I'd stay away from FleaBay. There are plenty of great sellers right here on this forum. Good luck!

Well the seller seems legit but only being on ebay for a year with only 25 feedback I am not sure she is ready for the many multiple thousand dollar sales. Contact her, ask some basic questions and make one or two things you already know the answer to. Grade her response and figure how you feel about it from there.

I figure she is a she from the lady prez and the fact that the last item in her history that you can view is a dress. You can learn a lot about a person from their ebay history but even more in a few quick messages.

Please post this in the Watch Out! section of the forum. These guys can help you. That box does not look right to me, but I really have never been good at identifying good boxes vs fake ones.

Rarely worn my @$$. That band looks stretched even while being supported and sitting upright. On the wrist it would probably look very worn in my opinion. It could just be a bad pic, but usually people put their best pics up. Also, that dial might be aftermarket but I'm not sure. The bidding will no doubt go higher, but if it was me I'd take the money and buy a newer watch. The ad says nothing about a servicing and it's way overdue for one if it hasn't happened.

What I find curious is the lack of close-ups and pictures in general. Normally sellers post numerous pictures from all angles. The seller states she has a receipt, but do we know if she is the original buyer? There is no mention of any model #s, years of purchase, etc. It may be legit but she leaves many unanswered questions and only had 25 transactions. Perhaps you should keep looking. If memory serves, didn't you purchase your SS DJ with blue diamond dial from ebay approximately 6 months ago or more? How did that turn out for you?

that my first Rolex get me absolutely hooked. Mywife initially does not even wear watch more than $25. Now she is hooked to my watch, and keep "borrowing" it. She even counts how many Roles she saw when she is flying around for work.

I wouldn't touch it. If it's real, it looks pretty well used.
