I’d be asking for those verified “in hand” pics JT before assuming they’re physical/real and he’s not just another window licker seller. |

I don't think it is that far off, I have had private offers (I am not interested in selling mine) for 300k on my ss green 26240. Demand for these 50th watches is OFF THE CHARTS. I am surprised however that grey's already have them, I was one of the first in the US with mine and picked it up on Friday.

Apparently folks have been putting calls into greys to prepare for the flip if they get allocated one so it’s teed up when the watch comes through. It’s really unfortunate for those guys that actually want to keep and wear the watch but these sellers will get blacklisted asap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

One way to look at the insane asks - if someone is willing to burn their relationship with AP to the ground for good (or risk their job/business by funneling these watches to the grey market), they'd better make it worth their while. |

Why am I not surprised...... Over here in Malaysia I have seen certain influencers getting invitation to try and getting first dibs on incoming inventories. It's the nature of the game these days.

So frustrating and not even worth trying to get an AP watch anymore it seems. Ugh...and one thing that really frustrates me, the Code 11.59 prices.
I would buy a Code Chrono...I actually really like them, and then a watch for the wife to have a chance at a ROC or to even get on a 5 year wait list for jumbo, but $50K for the Code chrono when I really just want a $33K ROC is a hard pill to swallow for someone wanting to start getting into AP...then the ROO prices... Like the lowest price watches in the collections are impossible to get! Can we at least get a SS and Ceramic 11.59 at the same price as a SS ROC? |

Same question I pose on the PP and Rolex parts of TRF...
If this is true, then why do greys continue to have an ongoing and infinite supply of these flipped watches, I wonder? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1FzZ7llgeAU |

So you would decide not to buy from AP b/c you might be blacklisted from buying more APs, if you decided to flip? That's a bit confusing

Besides, who said 5+ years?
It's just a common courtesy to not flip watches that are in high demand. Wear it for a year or two, enjoy it, be a true collector, not an NFT/crypto flipper treating watches like crypto trying to make a quick buck. Otherwise, don't participate. Please. Let the true collectors buy it. |

The idea of thinking twice before buying, is the idea that I need to think twice before spending too much on watches. What if I don't have enough cash if suddenly I was hit with a problem, or something change in my life, losing a job, having a baby, etc. Many things can happen in a 5 year time frame. |

I know it's only a watch and only a first world problem but it's really sucks how the this thing is playing out. the VVVIPs keep getting watches and flipping them meanwhile the mere mortals who have 2-3 watches from AP are talked to by their SAs as outsiders who have almost no chance at ever getting a piece from the new collection.

I'm in no hurry to sell any watch I get, so how hot a watch is right at the moment isn't as much of my concern, because many years down the road, we don't know. Just buy the watches you love, and you won't worry about the grey market price. |
