Why not use a circular piece of packing tape, or equivalent?

Fair enough. Just slap a piece of adhesive on it I guess.

Of all the sticker threads I’ve ever read, the case back sticker thread takes the cake. Is this for real??? If you are a person that likes stickers, this one is the most useless one of all. It seems impossible to hurt the case back of a watch while wearing it. Please enlighten me.

Have you considered a different sticker? Maybe one from a trip or special event in your life?

Similar to engraving but can much more easily be updated/changed. There isn't that commitment risk.

In Japan watch dealers will often affix another similarly sized round clear sticker on top of the original sticker so that it protects the original sticker when you wear it.

If you want a replacement NOS sticker, you can sometimes find them on Japanese auction sites.

Sent it in for service, the RSC will fit an original OEM sticker on it.

Personally I find case back stickers gross, it’s a breeding ground for bacteria.

This will work. These are used for servicing or bracelet sizing when you don’t want the bracelet to rub up against the case back and cause scratches.
I have also seen them used for skin allergies to the nickel in the 904l in very hot weather.

It will depend which year your watch was/is. Vintage have the solid green with the reference # in black numbers. Later versions have the holograms until I believe around 2015?

Both are available, the solid green with correct ref # are quite expensive (on ebay). While the later hologram are easily found (google) for 20-40$.

Mine fell off as well so I improvised and wrapped the entire thing in bubble wrap and wear it that way. Of course I cut a small circle to see the dial tho. Worked like a charm but it makes my wrist a little sweaty so I had to add some extra baby powder. But hey, there’s no limits that I wouldn’t go to in order to keep it pristine.

I don’t understand what seems to be the problem here? A man has every right to want to fulfill the needs and desire’s that only a case back sticker can satisfy!!! Now, let’s pull it together and help the man out! I for one prefer the Golden Star Sticker…which should be available via your local Pre-School Teacher!

Google it.

There’s plenty of sellers but theyre not Rolex genuine. They’re just generic red line and used by resellers and watch technicians.

the safest way is to take it to the RSC for sticker replacement. and make sure you have the service certificate for proof of authenticity. Good luck!

First of all, people with $300,000 timepieces are not allowed to post in such threads.

But @EEpro is right on point.

The sticker on the case back on these modern pieces falls off after wearing it 5 or 10 times. You cannot buy an equivalent sticker.

you can go on eBay and purchase what are known as service stickers. They are the same type of stickers that Rolex service center puts on case backs or other refinishers or polishers put on case box when they are finished conducting their service, to prevent scratches, and those are temporary as well.

You want something that stays longer? You are going to have to buy 3M helicopter stick, and cut it out.

Clean the watch everyday or every other day. A lot of sweat, grime, dead skin cells, etc, stick on the case back. Be clean and hygienic please.
