That's good advice. I'm being a bit of a whiny beatch....be the first admit it...but they should know. Everyone needs to learn their trade. There is a truism among people who refinish wood floors, "It takes a certain touch. Just don't learn the touch on your own floors."

Same is true at Rolex. people need to learn the skills to become masters. But damn! Don't give them my watch to practice on! The scratch on the dial--you can see exactly how it happened when the dials were pried off--totally threw me. I mean, it is what it is, and I'm okay...but who do they hand the Platinum Meteor Face to, and why don't I rate that guy?

Awesome, glad to hear it went well. As for the service, this is why I actually prefer a local professional watchmaker. That way you can go in and see your watch when you pick it up. A watchmaker who has to look a customer in the eye at pickup time will take tons more pride in his work than someone who sticks it in a FedEx box and sends it on its way, but thats just my opinion

You are not being whiny at all this is an RSC that put mismatched pushers that you could spot a block away. It will do you good to get it off of your chest with NY RSC. IMO.

Another truism for you: What is the best stick shift to learn to drive on?
Another persons car.

However you don't put just anyone on a vintage Daytona.

Then wire most of the money to your regular bank account. Just keep enough in the new account to avoid the monthly fee, and then close the account in a few months.

It is deceptive of the RSC to not tell the owner what had happened.
I guess we'll have to tell RSC not to change certain things to avoid devaluing a watch. Nice post and thanks.
