Keep one, Sell one

I know there is room for both, but I feel I don’t need both. Both 10/10. Can’t go wrong either way. Which do you think I kept? I love these watches.

Planet Ocean. The lume is better. Both great watches though. Keep them. You’ll regret selling either.

I personally think the SMP300 is the more versatile watch. Not as thick and slightly more dressy.

I think you kept the SMP. What size is the PO?

Winner! I’m keeping the SMP. The PO is 43.5. It’s up for sale.

Glad to see you made a decision! I'm confident it's the right one, as the 300M I more versatile in a sense.

I felt it was more versatile too and can be worn up and down. Also for some reason I prefer circle indices on dive watches. Both are 2 of the best divers you can get.

If I had to choose I would keep the smp 300. In reality I would keep both.

Lol it’s one of those debates. Tough to decide. I picked the SMP because of versatility, size, and I like the wave dial. Like I said can’t go wrong either way.

Tell us what is your current collection.....SMP is more of an everyday tool watch, the PO is on the heavy and bulky side due to the thick watch meant for water activity

Good decision. I much prefer the 300M and I have owned both.

The PO is the cooler watch IMO, but the SMP wears better.

For those reasons, keep both

It’s about split. I figured it would be. Currently I have just the two, but the plan is sell the PO and get a speedy or IWC pilot chronograph. Land and sea.

I have the speedy/seamaster combo right now, with a de ville thrown in for dress.

black/blue/silver

Looking to add a white DJ41 though.

That’s a great collection. That’s what I need to do. I like dive watches so I have mainly been acquiring those, but I need to diversify!

Thanks.

I've always preferred divers in the past. I was a one watch guy back then, so of course you want something that does it all.

When I started collecting, I realized I always gravitated to black dial watches, because I was still shopping for a "one watch" collection, so of course I wanted each watch to be black.

Then I realized I was doing it wrong. I started doing white, silver and blue.

I sold almost all of my watches outside of these 3 though, after I realized I will never wear them again. I've only kept a citizen promaster for when I know I'll be in the pool, and a g shock for the gun range.

I know, it's silly, but my seamaster has never been underwater, haha!

Me exactly. Black dial, dive watches. I think I’m good on the SMP being the dive watch now need to expand. You have never taken the SMP in water!! Blasphemy! Lol
