Most beautiful? Daytona White Gold Oysterflex Meteorite 116519 LN

For me at the moment the most beautiful, most wanted Daytona. Combination with the strap, the dial and the white gold, just nearly perfect…

What you think?

Ditto…been waiting patiently for a call but AD still hadn’t seen one yet so seems like the WG ones are either not being sent through yet or are just really slow behind YG and RG

For that kind of money, I’d rather have a bracelet but to each their own

I get the flex and the hype around this piece. However, the Daytona is not the most legible watch in itself, let alone in this configuration. All I see is a messy dial offering even poorer legibility. So not my cup of tea if we’re talking about a watch I’d actually enjoy wearing, I don’t care about the investment side.

Yes Roman numerals and no black metal circles ruining the dial

I think it’s certainly the most versatile Daytona. It has everything, even in the steel sunburst dial config. Lovely watch

Would be even better with a white gold bracelet!

Effortlessly cool piece. An instant classic.

I would love to be able to get one but I don't think that's ever going to happen.

I agree. I'm on the waitlist for this on OF because the ceramic bezel wears larger. The metal bezel models looks tiny on my wrist (8.25").

I do wish they offered the ceramic bezel with the bracelet.

Not for me.

Rolex professional in stainless steel only. I’ve tried PM Daytona twice and won’t entertain another go.

Also, not a meteorite fan, just find it distracting and busy.

I also agree that this is the best iteration. The rose gold and yellow gold don't work well with the meteorite, regardless of the strap/bracelet. My AD tells me mine is coming within 3 months. We will see.

What was it that you didn’t like about the PM Daytonas? I’m asking because I have only ever had stainless professional models but thinking about a YG Daytona for the next one.

PM is just too fussy for professional models.

Goes against the fundamental character of the piece.

It only detracts from the professional essence and adds nothing.

I like the meteorite with white metals but not with YG or RG. I think the meteorite DD is the best combo, but likely will never own any.

I actually agree that SS is best for sports/professional model watches but you cannot get the Meteorite dial on SS. If you could that would be a very in demand piece (like the gold ones aren't)

If you want a PM bracelet, you still have to add another 10K$… That’s a lot of money for 10 links! And then you lose the nice contrast of the ceramic bezel. If only we could choose full PM watch and bracelet but keep ceramic bezel…

I also thought this was the best Rolex offering, but wearing it felt small (I have a 73/4" wrist) and it was difficult to read the time on the dial...sold it 4 months after purchase.

For an expensive Rolex watch costing thousands of dollars I would never consider a rubber or leather band.

Bracelet for me. I like it but IMO I'm personally getting a little burned out on forcing meteorite onto everything. And this coming from a person who has two meteorite pieces.

It's nice and I have yet to see in person... or even anyone on this forum at this point.

I asked my AD to put me on the list for a 116519 with the silver dial and black sub dials, so hoping that comes soon (maybe two years from now, lol).

Same. I was motivated to do that by the guy this weekend who said his AD called and offered him one (and even discounted it). Maybe they're floating around out there, who knows.
