Trade value of 1967 meters-fFirst 5513 Sub

At the present time this is just a thought, but....

I would like some opinions on what the trade value of a very clean 1967 5513 meters-first Sub would be against an almost new (i.e., 2-3 years old max) GMT-II, Explorer-II or Green Sub-Date. Would I have to add alot or any cash? Or the other way around? I love the watch but I have not worn it in years. I know it has some collector value but I am not into vintage models with ivory dial markers. I like the look of a new face, super white markers and a sapphire crystal. With one of these newer models, I would at least wear it occasionally. I can't afford to buy another one outright. My daughter has no interest in watches and would probably pawn it when I die. Thanks for the opinions.

John

predicting the value of your 5513 is a hard task at the moment. because of the current climate....

Do you have all the bits to go with it as that can sometimes make a difference...

I have the original sales receipt from Chronometrie Beyer in Zurich, an RSC receipt from 1972 and a service receipt from Sutter in Chicago in 1980. I have the little white owner's booklet but never got a box. I walked out of Beyer with the watch on my wrist and didn't think I wanted to carry the box around Europe in my backpack.

You might be the one getting some cash back on a trade.

Your watch would probably sell for approx. 5K today.
