International Shipping

Any suggestions about how to ship internationally. I'm in the US, but I may have a buyer in Belgium. USPS does to registered mail for international destinations, and will allow me to purchase enough insurance.

I imagine FedEx is a possibility too.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

I just used Fedex International to ship an AP strap from Canada to the buyer in Norway. It arrived, a few days later than promised, but it arrived.

Thanks for your reply. Were the customs and insurance issues a pain?

Whatever cartier you use, you’ll have to declare the accurate value and description of the goods being shipped.

Should customs intervene, your and or the buyer will be screwed.

I wouldn't do this unless the value actually is de minimis. Customs charges are preferable to fraud charges and/or larger financial penalties.

You and your buyer may want to read the official rulkes before falsifying a government document, penalties are up to 40%

Be careful if shipping anything with a registered endangered animal strap. If that's the case it's better to fly over and drop it off..
