Rolex Commando

Researching niche brand tie-ups at Rolex/Tudor for some academic malarky....anyone got an 'A and F' Commando Rolex, esp if bought from the retailer direct !?

Indeed sir, but was hoping that this forum is indeed 'Hens Teeth HQ'!

PS also interested in any esoteric tie-ups with public and private sectors outside the normal Retailer Jewellers eg.Tiffany, Linz and usual suspects like Domino's etc etc, such as the Italian state police for Rolex :

https://www.phillips.com/detail/rolex/CH080119/15

and Tudor:

Philippines Airlines (Ground and Air Crew in early 80s)

Tudor Prince Date
£5,952

Great stuff L/siders...just knew someone would stomp-up with the merch'!

Gives me a chance to look at that handset in a bit more detail too.

Any other rare tie-ups welcome please like small airlines and small oil, marine or gas companies cheers

I had quite a few of these esp UAE stuff, but a few new ones on this list compared to other lists I had, so much appreciated and I can dig into (with ex-mktg employees at Rolex) how sponsorship came about, numbers made, motivation to do so, why Rolex did it, who dial manuf. was, where and when it was 'applied' and co. distribution criteria etc.

I.m.h.o most watches look way worse with something on dial eg the Cardinals 2006...but, that 'Arkansas Best' AB dial of late 70s 1675 GMT looks awesome thanks !!! Anyone got one of those btw ?

Rob (powerfunk) has some excellent, well researched threads in the Rolex Reference Library section here. I made several of them sticky as they're some of the most useful and interesting threads on TRF
