I tell you
First time I have seen an advert on main stream TV for a Rolex Skydweller blue face during the Australian Open.
It’s happening. Tuck in kids. |

I seem to recall them in golf tournaments on TV here in the US the last several years.

That started a few years ago.
A pix from a video my wife took at the 2018 Australian Open.

Rolex spends $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on advertising. No surprise here, IMHO.

I've seen a couple of those too. It's a big brand and they spend big in advertising too as every business should.

They do tend to target advertise at a few prestigious events every year. Doubt we’ll ever see a super bowl ad.

I see highway billboards all of time. They usually are for the AD’s location and specific watch (that the AD won’t have in stock LOL)

The only televised ads for Rolex I see are for the Daytona during the Rolex 24hrs at Daytona. Which is this weekend!

Yeah I know its "not happening" but it is softening, fascinating business model though, obviously not advertising to sell more watches just advertising to maintain the hype and of course hedge their bets if the sh*t hit the fan. |

Genuine question to marketing gurus why doesn’t PP (as an example of higher end watches) advertise in similar fashion?
