Exactly. At this point, I think that if users/posters do not include
1) Source of the news
2) Exact Models
3) Whether the source is reliable/confirmed or not

Then other members shouldn’t even believe them. I mean I really appreciate others who give news like “their ADs told them so and so”, but it’s just so frustrating for the others to just post XXX and YYY is getting discontinued without giving further context. People who do that reminds me of Chicken Little who constantly scream that the sky is falling!

Managed to have a quick glance of the run out list at the AD and seems like 5712A, 5167A and 5164A are discontinued.

It is disturbing how important it seems to be able to announce something, may it be as remote as "I have seen in the eyes of my AD that they knew I have the correct guess/hope/whatever".

Yep, I’d be more inclined to trust Patekaholic however. He often has early news and publishes run out lists before anyone else knows about it.
